In my 50 years in insurance I have never experienced a Claims team who are willing to be so open, honest and vulnerable with each other, and that is down to how Lorna and Lottie have worked with them.

At Aspen Insurance Group we have been working with 7 Seas to provide some secret sauce to our global Claims strategy, restructure, leadership and change journey. The experience has been amazing, the engagement off the chart and the goals and outcomes are visible to all and being demonstrated across our business inside and out. I can’t recommend this firecracker team enough. And if you want to know what the secret sauce is, here’s some insight:

•  A tablespoon of trust

•  A teaspoon of empathetic leadership

•  One and a half teaspoons of courageous leadership

•  A tablespoon of storytelling for business

•  A good pinch of the everyday seasoning of values and purpose

This week was Epic.  You did an amazing job. I am exhausted but it was worth it.  Everyone I spoke to got so much out of it and it would not have been the success it was without you. You rock! Can’t wait to see you in the US!

Charlotte, Lorna, and Jo are an absolute joy to work with, full of ideas, creativity, humour…and patience! They are strategy, engagement, communication, and branding wizards. As a sensitive piece of work for our organisation, they have taken time to fully understand who we are, our vision, values, and challenges; walking alongside us and when necessary, gently leading us on our journey to realise our aspirations. They are as passionate about the project as we are, and this shows in their work.

The Global Aspen Claims team have worked in partnership with Woodreed, now 7 Seas over the past 18 months. They have helped shape Aspen’s claims strategy, supported our change journey, and maintained our continued focus on Aspen values and how that drives positive behaviour within the team. They have been a fantastic partner for Aspen and their knowledge and expertise in culture change, leadership and people development has dramatically improved the engagement of the Claims team.

The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom has worked with Jo, Lorna, and Charlotte since 2022 when we asked if they would help support and facilitate our first off-site staff away day. The team then worked with us developing a new People Strategy and producing a unique recruitment video. More recently Lorna facilitated our last away day in September, and we received lots of positive feedback from all those that attended who appreciated her style and approach.

In all aspects, what impresses us most is how quickly the brief is understood and pitched at the right level for our organisation, always with respect and good humour, and always done very professionally. Working with the team has been very enjoyable and they have always listened and reacted to our views and comments to help us achieve highly successful results. We would have no hesitation about using them again in the future.

Lottie and Lorna facilitated a very successful workshop for the DHSC Legal Advisers’ Directorate Away Day in February 2025, attended by over 100 lawyers and other cross-functional professionals. The session was tailored for our specific issues and stakeholders, which made it relevant to our challenges. Lottie and Lorna’s energy and delivery style made the session fun and interesting. We were also given useful resources to take away and use following the session. It was also original and practical – things you don’t always get in facilitated away day sessions! Thanks to Lottie and Lorna for their hard work in creating such a useful and enjoyable session for us.
